          I really wonder how they’ll handle different backgrounds and car colors with the new “transparent” logo, though. Is is robust enough? Now that the black background of the ring is gone, both the white and blue “propellers” need to contrast with the respective background.

        First of all, you need different versions of your logo for different backgrounds. But you will still end up with a bad contrast on medium light backgrounds and, in particular, shades of blue.

      And on light backgrounds, you need an additional ring around the propellers if you want the white propeller to still be visible.

    This doesn’t look that good when the additional ring is too bold, though. So they decided to make it a bit lighter, it seems. Which doesn’t work that well in small sizes. Tricky…
