Today, a teammate asked us to please remove the <title> elements from all inlined SVGs because search engines would misinterpret them as multiple document title tags. Me: HUH?

I mean, it is just not possible that this is really an issue, right? To my relief, I found this: seroundtable.com/google-svg-titles-32302.html

Does anyone know more about this? More proof, articles, or anecdotes about it? I’d even assume that search engines use the accessible title of an SVG as useful metadata. But mistaking it for a document title? That'd be quite amateurish.😂
