ephes Yes, the NT-USB is USB only. The sound quality is still decent but with less control compared to using an interface, of course. For the NTG5, I’m currently using an entry-level audio interface by Tascam (US-1x2). It has a relatively clean signal with low self noise for the price.On twitter.com

ephes The audio signal runs into my SONY camera (for audio/video sync). And the HDMI out of the camera then goes into an ATEM Mini which is connected to my Mac… 😅Permalink On twitter.com
