      darumacreative No, not at all and implying that wasn’t my intention. 😔 The way those models are trained worries me as much as the consequences AI has on the creative industry. I was thinking of independent designers, photographers, illustrators, et al. who will have to deal with this shift.

    darumacreative And I include myself here. I’ve been working as a freelance designer for 15 years now and I can totally see most of my work being replaced by layout-generating algorithms soon. That is a fact. One that I don’t like, but it seems inevitable.

      darumacreative Given this inevitability, I feel like the only way to react to this change is to be very conscious about our work and create things that are unique, that have character, and that offer a value people won’t easily get from an algorithm.
